Camping at Badger Flat Spike Camp with your camper trailer or your horse trailer & horses! Molly & Luke Oliver ( Owners of D&F Pack Station ) offer traditional camping and horse camping at their Badger Flat Spike Camp. D&F Pack Station runs a spike camp at Badger Flat parking lot ( near badger flat campground) that is located at the trailhead which goes in 2 different directions: The first direction is towards Dinkey Lakes Wilderness ( Weldon's camp, Rock Meadow, First Dinkey Lake, Second Dinkey Lake, Mystery Lake, Coyote Lake, Rock Lake, Cliff Lake, South Lake, Swede Lake, Island Lake, The " Three Sisters Peaks ( and the bastard sister too...). Black Peak dominates the dinkey lakes area and is a good reference point. The second direction is towards Potter Pass, Upper Twin Lake, George Lake, Walling Lake, Idaho Lake, Round Meadow, Sample Meadow, Kaiser Creek, etcetera............................. The elevation at Badger Flat Spike Camp is 8,200 feet. So, you and your horses can acclimate to the altitude change overnight before heading over towards Kaiser Wilderness ( Potter Pass, Upper Twin Lake, George Lake, Walling Lake). The other direction is South by Southeast headed into Dinkey Lakes Wilderness ( Dinkey Lakes, Three sisters peaks, Mystery Lake, Cliff Lake, etc.. ) Thank you for your attention and happy trails partner, Luke & Molly Oliver D&F Pack Station
